Are your website pictures costing you business?

I had a property manager call me 3 months after he started advertising his property online for the first time saying that he wasn’t getting much response and wondered why. He didn’t understand why his building wasn’t getting the enquiries while a similar building up the street was receiving a steady flow of web enquiries.

So I was curious to see what was going on and after viewing this persons property listings it didn’t take me long to realise what the problem was. He had pictures taking from his low res camera phone displayed on his web listings. Not to mention to mention horrific angles which said nothing about the building or unit. In fact one of the pictures taken was of a kitchen cupboard with one cup in it…that’s not all the image was displayed upside down!

Anyway we immediately deleted those photos and had a professional photographer come out ($100-$200) and take some hi-res images of the building, property and some furnished units (not empty) and uploaded them.

Within 3 days he was getting enquiries and has been happy ever since!

So have a look at your web images and if they are 2 or more year’s old, low resolution or if your building has gone a face lift up date them. You will be amazed by the response.
