I have a tenant who is violent and does not pay any rent. I am at the stage where I am going to leave the place empty as soon as I evict him. It is jsut not worth the stress. To lodge a court case and evict the tenant will take more than 3 weeks. It;s just ridiculous. I can;t even have access to my own property for inspection on a leaking tape as it is causing damage to another property downstairs. What law is there to protect the landlord??
